well the good news is i figured out what was causing random oddities every 3-4 days.. (one server kept rebooting and not saving briefly.. the entire system has crashed twice in the last few weeks too, etc)

it was bad ram
i had 32 gigs of ram and one of the pairs (i bought them in pairs) had an error so i had to return it

i will temporarily leave old v1 and v2 down since im running with only 1 pair for now...

the prices have gone up quite a bit since my upgrade and the place i ordered my sticks from is out of the speed/size of ram i bought ....

the survival, lobby, and challenge servers should be uneffected

sorry for the downtime, i had to bring everything down to test/remove ram

i bought some smaller sticks and tried them but they errored too!! wtf right?

ram can frequently have issues though ;(
it seems like half the ram ive ever bought has failed, shouldve remembered to check it in the first damn place

i have the full 32 gigs of ram again
i will be able to run all the existing servers plus i want to bring up a creative server next

tested this ram it seems to be totally good

geez man no luck with hardware lately

a drive died, but it was backed up

it is rebuilding a raid right now, no known data loss
