Well, today I finally managed to get 2 cows for the UC again..
But, someone has killed one and I've no idea who it was..[efore we got to get another one]
It's getting annoying getting animals back and it just needs to stop. D:

We need to make like a new hidden area for them or something.

What would make them despawn?

Well my dog disappeared, and so did Intangir's 3 dogs.  But I too have noticed a few less animals,
I think the key is to make sure you feed them frequently, this will keep them multiplying enough to stay ahead of this issue, and yes, I think underground city should hide their animals like we have.  The animals are the first thing you see when you come down the ladder to the UC.

i think it has something to do with the chunks being loaded and unloaded alot
the remote sheep area i have doesnt seem to have been effected much over a month
but the area right under my home has been drastically effected in a short time

if you have animals in a high traffic area i recommend breeding them frequently to keep their numbers up incase a few disappear
