tried to update the new newest versions of smf and tiny portal

the smf migration went extremely smoothly

the tinyportal migration failed 3 times, i gave up and left it at the existing version

i had to restore it from the backups i made when i switched to the new server

oh ya also i installed a new mod which should stop spammers from registering here ever again!!!

they can actually still post as guest but most of them are bots that dont seem to realize this

also guests dont have working links/images so they cant really post what they want to post


and i setup a iptables script that should keep some of the worst spammers out

Went no where, just look for post on my feeds

BTW did you read my long SSD post? Bottom line: They are fast, but expensive. Not good for servers tho.

Also we did have at least one spammer but I banned him "Irrergovode"...
