i would recommend NOT upgrading yet, it changes the netcode and breaks your ability to connect to the test server even if you run an older version.

it's also not backward compatible. it seems to have caused alot of connection issues which the server modding community haven't figured out

oh btw these changes have been accounted for now

1.9.x should work on the test world now, all of them, even though they aren't normally backwards compatible. im using a mod which somehow supports them all anyway!

should be able to use any 1.9.x version now
