This thread is just for recent changes, not requests, comments, etc, just for my changes, i will delete other replies (fyi)

* tweaked gravel drops to also include gunpowder rarely
* I fixed an issue that allowed dirt to fall on the roads
* Fixed an issue where sometimes blazes would spawn right ontop of you
* Without a bed, you will always respawn back on the ship (default) instead of randomly
* spaceship is no longer non pvp, instead you have a 60 second grace period after respawning where you can neither kill nor be killed

* Upgraded to the latest server build. tons of bug fixes and improvements, may be new unexpected things..

* also added unignore to stop ignoring them
* added a permission to use global chat. given by default, can be taken away if it is abused

* Dead bushes now drop dead bushes
* Spider webs can be made from 5 string in an X shape

* Horses are no longer ridable, leashable, or 'openable' unless you own them
* Horse ownership transfers just like wolves and ocelots (using a leash) (i can fix ownership if you got a horse from someone before this change, they are probably still technically owner)
* Wolves and Cats shouldn't teleport to aid you anymore if they are sitting (couldn't really test this one)
* Exiting Minecarts and Boats shouldn't teleport you over the edge of bridges or far away anymore
* Exiting a minecart or boat while holding a sword makes the vehicle drop at your feet
* All monster/animal drops drop at less random locations and speeds now, should prevent them from teleporting through walls

* Fixed holy water (should be created properly by light altars)
* Can now feed on horses
* Blood transfer from humans takes health instead of hunger
* Horses can become infected by vampires, making them undead
* Transfering blood has a reduced effect (equal to effect of attacking for blood)

* Fixed horses sometimes disappearing when you log out and back in (there are ALOT of horse bugs though.. be careful logging on horses)
* Fixed teleporting through walls/ceilings when getting off of horses

* Major improvement to quest system
* New quests for traveling solar system
* Vampirism has spread to the rest of the solar system
* join/parts hidden for now (new mod coming soon to give info about server changes, and first joins)
* New cross server chat system with channels
* Rewrote all of the tweaks in java (hopefully no noticeable difference)
* Teleporting dog fix should work now (hard to test)
* Temporary respawn protection for 1 minute (helps those being spawn camped)
* Doubled the monster limit for AF
* Tripled the spawnrate
* Installed mob limiter on VE (same limit as AF had)

* increased the snitch and bumper field expiration to 1 year
many VE fields already expired though so its a bit late for them now
some of you will have to remake your fields if you still want to watch your areas

* Went live with all of the 1.8 updates and changes
* Removed pigman auto agro from AF (they were INSAAANELY fast and dangerous)
* Fires under Y 30 no longer burn forever on AF, this was a bug, over Y30 remains unchanged (they will work like normal, including burning up things if they are set on wood, recommend glowstone, sea lanterns, redstone torches, or lava)

* zombie pigmen temporarily nerfed down to only 10 per view distance

their AI is terribly terribly broken, the api i would need to fix their broken AI is also broken..

i posted bug reports on it, hopefully either the api, or the ai will be fixed and we can turn them back to normal

* Recreated the obsidian from redstone 'bug' since it is well liked and fair enough (mojang had patched it)
* Added rabbits to /animals list
* Changed blaze AI so they don't target players or golems from too far away (and get stuck shooting fireballs at walls forever)

* spawner AI is nerfed again. I had removed it because it messed up blaze AI to the point where it didn't work. but now i have made my own AI nerf that only effects non blaze spawner mobs (including zombies which have been eating up all of the cpu)

* Decreased mob counts especially for zombies to combat AI bugs/lag
* Discovered a shopkeeper bug related to written books. don't sell them for now, it isn't fixed, only temporarily repaired..

these two changes should drastically improve server performance and stability, there is still a 3rd issue related to citadel which hopefully isn't noticeable enough to effect performance

* Updated nocheatplus, this should fix the issue where sometimes you can't break certain blocks with certain tools
* Updated spigot, seems to have fixed some of the AI, and memory usage issues related to pigmen!!? will have to keep an eye on it
* Readded healthbar, it seems to work again now
* Reincreased monster limits
* Readded auto-agro pigmen

some of these changes might need to be renerfed, the only way to know for sure if they are all fixed is to just try them out. so here we go, they seemed alright on test

the latest server upgrades seem to have improved performance and stability, but it seems to have also broken the chairs mod, and also the mod which fixes your position when you dismount from a vehicle

do not ride minecarts on skyroad or the big world road around af for now unless you want to risk falling to your death

* remove 'can't build in air' restriction from all worlds
* removed auto healing/hunger regeneration from ships (it was never supposed to restore hunger, and that can't be disabled alone)
* re-made magic cauldron feature (now requires full cauldron to work, fill unlimited potions from 1 cauldron)
* added a way to reach the astral realms! going to see if people figure it out on their own, ill tell later

these changes are for survey only (for now, may got AF also if they work out well)

* added new survey world
* installed a new mining difficulty mod ive been working on in place of not being able to break stone on new survey world
* replaced tree falling and farming challenges from extra hard mode with my own implementations
* tree falling is a little different (doesn't work well with the custom trees on these biomes though, neither did extra hardmodes though) now leaves will also fall, branches should fall reliably
* disabled raining out torches on survey
* farming in arid and underground areas is possible but slower (instead of impossible)
* mesas deserts and hell count as arid, savanah doesn't
* some of the farming restrictions have been removed
* netherwart farming is possible anywhere, but the yield is weak
* rain wont break torches
* nether disabled for now, planning something interesting instead

you will be able to mine stone again even with crappy picks, but now the deeper you go the more fatigued and weak you become in the denser, hotter, lower oxygen environment

tnt also has reduced yield and you can not make 3 for 1 anymore

* strength 2 can cancel out 1 level of weakness/fatigue while mining in the depths (from potion or beacon)
* ores (other than coal) have to be loosened from the surrounding stone. if you mine them directly it will loosen the stone around them for you (you should hear a weird cracking sound ;))
* soulsand has a recipe, its 8 dirt surrounding 1 ghast tear (makes 4 souls and)
* pigmen will drop netherwart 25% of the time

survey world only for now:

* villagers can now trade
* villagers no longer solicit their services as shopkeepers
* villagers can be hired as a shopkeeper for an emerald block
* bumpers protect villagers from harm or being hired away
* can rename shopkeepers using nametags like normal
* sponges can be fished out of the water
* (iron golems drop iron, been in place for a while)

these should all be coming to AF also as long as there are no bugs

* Finished converting our custom shopkeeper build to 1.10 (huge pain in the ass)

* can rename shopkeepers with nametags

* created a work around to fix 'Pounders' (http://mc.intangir.org/index.php?page=55)

the sticky piston no longer fires ANY events thats that i can capture to detect the anvil raise, but NON-sticky pistons do.. so for now, just use a regular non-sticky piston over the anvil instead of the slime kind.. i know it makes less sense but its the only way i can maintain the functionality for now
