Anarchic Frontiers Minecraft Server

Hey guys, not sure if anyone still checks this anymore but heads up, I got into vintage story lately after Ark Survival Evolved servers went down (thats what i've been playing for years.)

Vintage Story is a minecraft like game with a much more involved progression system (upto a point), It's quite good. I've been enjoying it the last few weeks and wanted to have a reliable server that would be up to share with others.

So recently I finally did some updates to my server and setup a new install for Vintage story

It's "Anarchic Frontiers PvE" on the server list. already a handful of players have been joining, come visit if you want, the game is here https://www.vintagestory.at (I bought it off humble bundle, easy for US$ people)

vs server is temporarily down, had data loss situation, restoring many things from backups

the webserver was also lost but i had a semi recent backup, looks like it restored okay

   I didn't see the vintage story post until now, but it does look pretty interesting, particularly the world simulation parts.

Used to I would check this website kinda more regularly, but I've been really busy this whole year. I appreciate that you're actually still keeping this up after so long. Just happened to catch it when there's been a recent post. It's also nice that you still keep it up because this is probably the only way a lot of us would have if we ever tried to get in contact with anyone from the server.

Honestly this is still a nice looking forum for its age, some of them were pretty bad. I still kinda like forums, though now they're pretty relegated to specific kind of niche things.

I remember how much trouble you went through updating the server plugins too, back in the day. Especially prison pearls, and that one that made you need to break blocks more times if people protected them with items, I think.

Nice to see you igloo, im fine, and ya it was alot of work back in the day but it was all worth it at the time, was alot of fun and learning too and helped my people :)

Lately ive been spending alot of time on this new server setup, its been interesting and fun in its own nerdy way. i still have several more plans for the whole setup, including ssl certs, a photo/document/cloud server for my lan and devices, and i also setup a cool VPN setup now so i can access my home systems from outside my house
