http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1272953 you need to install it WITHOUT forge though, forge is currently incompatible with our server setup (hopefully they fix it later, but so far doesn't seem to be any important 1.8 mods updated anyway) to install it follow these instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEqAxMJEx7Y make sure you get the version for your actual install, either 1.8 or 1.8.1 depending on what version your using (i am using 1.8) basically you can either run the installer on windows, or run the jar on any OS "java -jar OptiFine_1.8.0_HD_U_B2.jar" for example, it will install an optifine profile into your minecraft launcher then you select that profile to launch the game! |
