remember, each time a new minecraft update is released, if you update before any of the server software is updated there won't be any good servers to play on

we have to wait for bukkit servers, proxy servers, and bukkit mods to work out the kinks before upgrading

btw you dont have to get a special 'hacked' version of the game
just get a friend or whoever, maybe that site listed above,

download it and launch it with these commandlines which i have to find on the site here somewhere...
